• Please use the site honestly. Don’t try to hack it, scrape it, or use it to send us junk.
• If something on the site harms you, our liability is limited to what California law allows.

Who we are

This website is owned and operated by GK Cares Inc., a California C Corporation. When these terms say “we,” “us,” or “GK Cares,” that’s who we mean. “You” means you — the person using the site.

What the site is for

gk.care exists so that families can learn about who we are and start a conversation with us about non-medical home care for a loved one. Everything on this site is informational. It is not medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for talking to a doctor, attorney, or other licensed professional.

How the actual care works

GK Cares is a family-run referral and coordination business. Non-medical home care services are delivered by our licensed partner, Reach Out Home Health Care, under California Home Care Organization license #274700018. All caregivers are registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry.

If you decide to move forward with care, you will sign a separate written care agreement that spells out the services, the schedule, the rate, and each party’s responsibilities. That agreement, not this website, governs the actual care relationship.

Using the contact form

When you send us a message, please give us accurate information so we can respond. By submitting the form, you agree that we may contact you by phone, email, or text about your inquiry. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Automated submissions, spam, or attempts to probe or circumvent the form are not allowed. We use basic protections (including a honeypot field) to block them.

Acceptable use

Please don’t:

• Interfere with the site’s operation or security.
• Try to access parts of the site or systems you aren’t authorized to see.
• Scrape the site at scale, or use it to train machine-learning models, without our written permission.
• Submit false information, impersonate someone else, or harass our team.
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose.

Our content

The text, images, design, and the GK Cares name and marks on this site are the property of GK Cares Inc. or our licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view and share links to the site. You may not copy our content for commercial purposes without our permission.

Links to other places

This site may link to other websites (for example, partner bakeries or public information resources). We don’t operate those sites and we’re not responsible for what’s on them.

No warranty on the website

We work hard to keep this site accurate, available, and useful, but we provide it “as is.” We don’t guarantee that it will always be available, that it will be free of errors, or that any specific outcome (including a care arrangement) will result from using it. Nothing on the site creates a care relationship between you and GK Cares or our HCO partner — that only happens once a care agreement is signed.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent California law allows, GK Cares Inc.and our family, employees, contractors, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of your use of this website. Our total liability for anything arising from your use of the site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under California law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct, and it does not limit anyone’s rights under a signed care agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising from this website is the state and federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you and we each consent to that jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site or our services evolve. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. If you keep using the site after we update the terms, that counts as agreement to the updated version.
