Loading…About us
For years, Musa and Gulnoza Musabaev have been waking up before dawn to bake for their neighbors. Three bakeries later — in Los Altos, Mountain View, and Palo Alto — GK Pastry is not just a business. It is a table the Bay Area gathers around.
GK Cares was born from a simple observation: the same regulars who come in for coffee and a croissant are often the ones who most need company. Adult children, stretched thin, quietly worry about a mom who now sits alone most afternoons. A dad who has stopped cooking for himself. A neighbor who used to host Sunday lunches.
So the family decided to bring the bakery’s warmth into the home. Same hands. Same values. A new way to take care of the people who took care of us.
The family
Parents, bakers, and the heart of everything GK. Gulnoza leads The GK Table kitchen; Musa keeps the family and the business steady.
The eldest son. Leads GK Cares day to day, and the person you will likely talk to first.
Khasan’s sister and brother. Part of every conversation about how we care for our clients and our team.
GK Pastry
Three locations. One kitchen philosophy: butter, time, and care. Clients of GK Cares are always welcome at our tables. And when we visit them at home, we often bring something warm from the oven.
This is the continuity: same family, same recipes, same belief that the small things — a good loaf, a fresh cup, a kind hour — are how a life stays full.
Stop by any of our bakeries, or reach out directly. We would love to hear about your family.
