What we’re building
The shape of the care, while we wait on the license.
Once our California Home Care Organization license issues, this is the range we plan to offer. The list is only half the story — the real work will be in how each visit is shaped to the person in front of us.
Companionship & conversation
The heart of it. Tea, stories, music, games, and the steady presence that makes a house feel lived-in again.
Meal preparation
Light cooking at home, grocery runs, and — when chosen — The GK Table: fresh meals from Gulnoza’s bakery kitchen.
“Food made with love is not a luxury. It is care.”
Personal care assistance
Respectful support with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Caregivers will be on the California Home Care Aide Registry.
Light housekeeping
Laundry, tidying, dishes, making the bed. The small things that keep a home feeling like home.
Transportation & errands
Doctor visits, pharmacy runs, groceries, the hair salon, church, and yes — the drive to the coast on a clear day.
Hospital sitting
A familiar face at the bedside during a hospital stay, coordinated with family and nursing staff.
The GK Table
Fresh from the bakery, to the table.
When we open, a home-cooked, seasonal meal will be part of how we show up — the same kitchen that has fed this community for years, made by people who know how to feed a family.
- • Rotating weekly menu built around what is fresh
- • Dietary preferences, allergies, and favorites respected
- • Gulnoza’s kitchen, the same one behind GK Pastry
