We only ask for what we need to follow up.

The short version

• GK Cares is applying for its California Home Care Organization license. Until that license issues, this site is informational and the contact form is interest-capture only — we are not currently arranging or providing home care.
• We collect what you submit through our contact form, and the basic request metadata that any web server sees.
• We use it to follow up with you when GK Cares opens, and to keep the site fast and free of abuse.
• We do not sell your information. We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising trackers. We do not set tracking cookies.
• The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Contact form emails are delivered through Resend.
• You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@gk.care.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name and email address (required), and your phone number and any message (optional). You choose what to share. We don’t ask for details about a person who might receive care, or for scheduling information — we’re not in a position to plan visits yet.

Information collected automatically

When you visit any page, Cloudflare (our host) logs standard request metadata: IP address, approximate location, user agent, referring URL, and the page you requested. This is used to keep the site fast and to block abuse. We may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page views without cookies and without fingerprinting individual visitors.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party advertising or behavioral analytics.

How we use it

• To reach out to you when GK Cares is licensed and open, and to answer any questions you sent us.
• To keep the site secure, fast, and free of abuse.
• To meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations that apply to a California-registered corporation.

We do not currently share your information with any third-party care provider, because GK Cares is not yet licensed and is not arranging care. If that changes after our license issues, we will update this page and tell you before any sharing happens.

Who processes your information

We use a small set of trusted service providers. These companies only handle the data that is necessary for their specific job, and each is bound by its own privacy commitments.

• Cloudflare, Inc.
  Website hosting, edge delivery, security, and privacy-preserving web analytics. Sees request metadata for every page load.
• Resend
  Transactional email delivery. When you submit the contact form, the contents are emailed to our inbox through Resend, which handles deliverability. Resend stores email records for a limited period as part of their normal service.

We do not sell or rent your information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a small number of security cookies (for example, to detect bots) as part of protecting the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless by design.

How long we keep things

We keep contact form submissions for as long as needed to follow up with you about our launch, plus a reasonable period after that for our records. We keep basic server logs for a short period (typically 30 days or less) for security and troubleshooting. You can ask us to delete your records at any time, subject to legal retention requirements that may apply to us.

Your rights

You can ask us, at any time, to:

• Tell you what information we have about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete it (to the extent the law allows).
• Stop contacting you.

California residents

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you specific rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information in the sense those laws use, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of your rights, contact us at hello@gk.care. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Children

This site is intended for adults making care decisions on behalf of themselves or a loved one. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including TLS for all connections and limited access to stored information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take our responsibility to protect your family’s information seriously.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information — especially when our HCO license issues and we begin coordinating actual care — we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. For substantial changes, we will reach out to anyone with an active inquiry.
